Mission Impossible 4 – Tom Cruise and JJ Abrams bring you a whole new cast and story

Tom Cruise is back as clandestine secret agent Ethan Hunt on Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (or just Mission Impossible 4, if Ghost Protocol’s too long for you). I know you’ve missed him, ever since Mission Impossible 3 every one of you wanted more of that in-your-face action that only the crack team of Tom Cruise and director/producer JJ Abrams can bring.
So what have JJ and Tom Cruise have in store for us on Mission Impossible 4?
The official trailer doesn’t tell us much, only that Tom Cruise and his fellow top secret (and top cool) agents are wrongfully blamed for blowing up the Kremlin, and must now work undercover to find the real criminals. Sheesh, can’t JJ and director Brad Bird give these guys a break? It’s bad enough that Tom Cruise had to run for his life in almost all of Mission: Impossible, they also grabbed Tom Cruise from his vacation to save the world on Mission Impossible 2, and on Mission Impossible 3? Cruise’s fiancée is kidnapped mid movie!
Mission: Impossible 4 cast: veteran Mission Impossible team meets the new cast
On Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, Tom Cruise goes to Russia (and Dubai, Mumbai, Prague… you get the point), has even cooler spy gear thanks to tech specialist Benji (Simon Pegg), climbs impossibly tall building and almost get blown up. Are you guys exited yet?
Apart from Benji, working with Tom Cruise on Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol is Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) the expert computer hacker and tough guy. Stickell is also the only character appearing on all four Mission: Impossible movies. Let’s not forget Jane Carter (Paula Patton), who has her work cut out for her as the leading role beside Tom Cruise, and of course the secretive Brandt (Jeremy Renner). Informing Tom Cruise of his mission, should he choose to accept it, is the IMF Leader (portrayed by the veteran Tom Wilkinson).
You have to admit this is probably the best cast imaginable for Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, considering that co-starring are Josh Holloway, the Swedish Michael Nyqvist, Léa Seydoux as Ghost Protocol’s villain and also Vladimir Mashkov. Sounds great, right?
Mission: Impossible 4 is packed with a fantastic cast, a compelling story, and starring Tom Cruise. You can’t go wrong with this one.
